THE IDEA
Bring a generation of artists together around music, freedom and identity
The Lookport team brought creative concept, screen content, bespoke staging and live direction into one production. More than 30 artists contributed across the tribute show and album, reinterpreting t.A.T.u.’s songs in their own voices.
The project connected an audience in the room with viewers online and continued through a tribute album released by Lookport on streaming platforms.
Pop imagery became a physical stage
A fuel tanker, a purpose-built carousel and a suspended cage turned familiar visual references into performance spaces. Scenic construction was coordinated with cameras, lighting, choreography, pyrotechnics and live cues.
A show and an album
An orchestra and new arrangements brought different emotional scales to the songs. Imany, POLINA, Manizha and Molchat Doma were among the artists involved in the recorded project. The work celebrated freedom, identity and the right to be yourself.
