Organiser-defined refund policies

The organiser sets the event refund policy. Make those terms clear before purchase and give ticket buyers a direct route to the organiser for event-specific refund questions.

Make the organiser’s policy easy to find

The organiser defines the event refund policy and handles event-specific refund decisions. The public offer should explain those terms clearly before a buyer commits, along with a direct way to contact the organiser about an order.

Keep the same policy wording across the event page, purchase information and customer communication. A policy is most useful when it answers the questions a buyer is likely to ask about changes, cancellations and the event’s own conditions.

Set up the workflow

Define the policy for the event and keep it consistent across the ticket page, purchase information and support communication. The organiser decides the policy; Lookport does not replace it with a universal event-refund promise.

When an event changes

If a date or programme changes, communicate what has changed and which options the organiser is offering under the applicable policy and obligations. Give buyers a clear support route and the information they should include about their order.

Keep the operational response and payment reconciliation aligned with those decisions. Lookport does not substitute a blanket refund promise for the organiser’s policy, and this feature page does not set the terms for an individual event.
