How to sell tickets for a concert

A practical concert launch plan: define the offer, prepare the event page, connect payments and measure the campaign.

Start with an offer people can understand

Before announcing the show, confirm the artist, venue, date, doors and performance times. Explain admission, age restrictions and what each ticket includes. A buyer should not need to search a social feed to understand the purchase.

Build and check the journey

Prepare the event page and ticket inventory, connect payments and check the mobile experience. Review confirmation wording, accessibility information and the support contact. Ask someone outside the project to describe what they believe they are buying.

Give each channel a role

Agree the announcement with the artist, venue and partners. Label campaign links consistently so you can compare activity later. Separate awareness work from the practical reminder that tickets are on sale.

Review before changing the plan

Look at sales alongside the announcement calendar and release schedule. If traffic is arriving without purchases, check the offer and booking journey before assuming the answer is more advertising. Keep a record of changes so the next show starts with better information.
