Contract and event responsibilities
An organiser service agreement must identify the organiser’s legal entity, the event seller, Lookport’s role and the applicable order form. The organiser supplies accurate event details, capacity, access restrictions, ticket inventory and customer policies, and must have authority to stage and sell the event. Lookport supplies the agreed ticketing technology and support.
The seller and any agency relationship must be visible before the buyer pays. Do not rely on a generic claim that Lookport is only a platform: the actual checkout, contracting arrangements and flow of money must support the stated role.
Payments and charges
The standard Lookport platform commission is 6%; Stripe processing fees are separate. The order form must define the commission base, VAT treatment, currency, who pays the fees, refunds of fees and chargeback allocation. Buyers must see unavoidable charges in the total advertised and checkout price.
The intended service connects the organiser’s Stripe account for direct payments. Stripe onboarding, verification, payout timing, reserves and disputes are governed by the relevant Stripe arrangements. The exact Connect configuration and funds flow must be verified before these terms become operative. These drafts do not authorise Lookport to hold client money or promise a payout date.
Cancellation and customer care
The organiser must supply an event cancellation, postponement and refund process consistent with applicable consumer law, nominate a contact and communicate material changes promptly. Responsibilities for authorising and funding refunds must be agreed in advance. A cancellation policy cannot remove statutory remedies for a cancelled or misdescribed service.
Accounts, data and integrity
Keep account access limited to authorised team members and notify us of suspected compromise. Do not sell unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorised tickets. The data processing schedule must identify when Lookport acts as processor and when it acts as an independent controller. Marketing permissions are separate from buying or issuing a ticket.
AI agent integrations and Shopify functionality marked Coming soon are not included as available contractual deliverables unless expressly agreed. Material publication or account changes made through future integrations must use the organiser’s authorised access and permissions.
Service changes, suspension and exit
The signed agreement must define support, planned maintenance, any service levels, suspension grounds and a proportionate remedy process. Security or fraud restrictions should be explained where legally permitted. Exit provisions must address open events, attendee support, outstanding refunds, data export, deletion and any unavoidable statutory retention. Contract duration, notice periods, warranties, insurance and liability caps remain to be agreed; this draft does not invent them.
